The Elite Women collected numerous Texas Cyclocross State Championship titles since inception. The elite women also make time to assist and role model for the next generation of rides through assistance at Junior Practices and by hosting clinics.
The Club continues the long history of fielding an Elite Men's Road Team. The Club is recognized nationally for producing multiple national and international level racers. The team is currently composed of a number of riders that have been developed through the Junior/U23 Matrix /RBM Development program.
The Matrix/RBM Junior & Under-23 Development Program is a developmental bicycle racing program organized and run as part of the Matrix Cycle Club. The program is just that, a program, which means it is a multifaceted cycling program for juniors and under-23 year old racers/riders of all abilities, skills, experience, goals and disciplines. The program is not an "elite team" but rather a varied support system for all varieties of racers under the age of 23.
The mission of the program is to develop young cyclists into competent, competitive racers who realize their potential. We strive to do this by:
Disciplines: Road; Mountain; Track; Cyclocross; Adventure
Eligible Riders: Membership to the program is open to and automatic for all Matrix members whose USA Cycling racing age is that of a junior or under 23. (Dec. 31 of that current year). All members of the Matrix Jr/U23 Program are expected to fill out the Matrix Cycle Club membership application and read and sign the release form; if under the age of 18 have their parent read and sign the release form. Each active member will be expected to purchase a Road ID for identification and emergency contact purposes. This Road ID is to be worm at every Matrix Jr/U23 program training session, group ride, clinic and training camp.
