About Our Club
MATRIX CYCLE CLUB is a nonprofit bicycling club dedicated to promoting and developing fast recreational and performance cycling. The Club is for cyclists of all ages and abilities generally residing in the Dallas/Ft.Worth region. Most members are students or working adults who enjoy cycle racing and performance training. Please feel free to join us on a local training ride and/or attend one of our Club meetings.
Matrix Cycle Club has been awarded USA Cycling Center of Excellence status for the 2017-18 race season recognizing our program of Junior and U23 rider development. Centers of Excellence have to meet strict requirements and consistently demonstrate the ability to develop young riders into nationally competitive athletes. In 2016 Matrix sent junior and U23 riders to road, mountain bike and cyclocross national championships.
Junior / U23 Road Cycling Training is held on Tuesdays from March through October at Woodcreek Church, Renner Rd, Richardson. This is open to all junior and U23 Matrix members of any ability level wanting to improve road cycling skills. Contact Max Miley or Sam Montag at Richardson Bike Mart for more information.
Junior mountain bike coaching rides are held at least twice weekly (weather depending) at local trails, usually Rowlett Creek Preserve in Garland.
These are open to all juniors but the aim is to develop MTB race skills and fitness.
Contact Mandy Yates at email@example.com more information.
